Diocese of Leeds – Church Road Map out of Covid-19 Restrictions

The table below will be guided by the government’s guidance on easing restrictions across England. The government has communicated that decisions on easing restrictions will be led by data rather than dates. The indicative, ‘no earlier than’ dates in the tables are all contingent on the data available at each stage and could be subject to change.

Although things are improving nationally, there is still a need for us all to be careful and cautious. Until we are told otherwise by the Government, safety procedures will remain in place for the foreseeable future. As Bishop Marcus says, ‘There is still a long journey ahead for all our churches an church halls to be fully re-opened.’ These precautions will include;

Social Distancing       Sanitising       Cleaning the Church after each use            Ventilation     Face-coverings
